Enrico's Peanut Bunker

Enrico Puglisi's Peanut Bunker is a great fly choice to imitate baby bunker and small herring. Enrico calls this fly the "Peanut Butter"; maybe because fish find it so tasty! Striped bass, bluefish, snook and seatrout, even selective tarpon eat the Peanut Bunker with abandon. The Enrico's Peanut Bunker #2/0 is approximately 3 1/4 inches long... The #3/0 and #4/0 Peanut Bunker are approximately 5 1/2 inches long. The #2/0 flies feature a weedguard, the larger flies do not. This fly is easy to cast, and features the right profile to attract the attention of gamefish feeding on small to medium sized bunker (menhaden) and herring.
