Bonefish Junk

Charlie Craven's Bonefish Junk is an excellent fly for the Bahamas and many other locations. Great for imitating Mantis Shrimps and other favored bonefish prey...this fly is lightly weighted with bead chain eyes. This pattern is a nicely evolved version of a classic "gotcha" style fly, with plenty of modern details that make it stand out. Rubber legs for action, crustacean eyes, patterning on the wing, and hot spots of orange help to get the attention of feeding bonefish!

The slim-profile "Bonefish Box" by Anglers Image shown below is probably the best box we have ever seen for carrying standard bonefish patterns - modern "slit foam" design holds flies securely and is easy to insert the flies in. This box will hold approximately 24 standard sized bonefish flies, but still fits easily in a shirt pocket - something that many boxes are advertised to do, but few achieve.
